Elephant foot is a freehand pipe shape with bird eyes on front and back of the bowl. The shape is very simular to pickaxe, so different pipe makers choose different names for same pipes.

Sandblasted pipes are pipes, finished in sandblasting machine. The air blast with sand makes an interesting relief, showing annual rings of the briar, which are not noticable on smooth finish.

Acrylic stem is much more hard and solid than ebonite. It's less comfortable in teeth, so I use it only in large hard pipes, which will be smoked in hand, not in teeth.
